ENTER 45 MINUTES PRIOR TO START.
Competitors will not be permitted to enter the festival until 45 minutes prior to their start time. Competitors will not be permitted to change their start time.
Racers shall observe and obey the travel restrictions and quarantine requirements as set forth by DEKA executive orders, which may change between the time you receive these Safety Guidelines and the day of the event.
MASKS ARE REQUIRED IN FESTIVAL.
All event staff and volunteers will wear face coverings at all times. Racers are REQUIRED to wear a face covering in the festival area before and after they race. Face coverings in festival must meet CDC guidelines for acceptable masks.
Face coverings during competition in the arena are not required, but are still mandated in both the start line and finish line.
Hand sanitizer will be available for use throughout the event. DEKA staff will regularly clean and sanitize all customer touch-points throughout the day.
One water station will be available on the running portion of the event. This station will be stocked with full water bottles. Once a competitor takes a bottle, they must carry it with them or dispose of it at one of the trash receptacles along the course. Littering is grounds for a disqualification.
FORMING LINES AND DISTANCING
Racers must observe and obey all signage indicating where lines should begin and where you should wait in line. These will be throughout the festival and course. Do not proceed until the individual in front of you moves forward.
Always keep at least 6 feet between yourself and other people.
Respect all volunteers, DEKA staff, and other competitors. Cheer on your fellow competitors. Throw away your trash in the bins provided. Have an unforgettable time in the DEKA FIT arena!
